Photo of me taken by my daughter
ME:
My dad handed me a camera when I was about 8 years old, and I have been hooked ever since.
Both of my parents were passionate artists as far back as I can remember. My dad is a phenomenal artist who paints, draws, and has always taken beautiful photos. My mom pursued an art degree and spent time painting, knitting, and was an accomplished pianist and violinist.
Many years after taking my first photos, I took photography in college, developing in the dark room, learning about composition, lighting, and the importance of perspective to help others see things they otherwise would not.
Years after college, when my son was born, I switched to digital. During the pandemic, I dedicated more time to my passion, learning as much as I can every chance I get!
I am also a full-time educator, working in elementary schools since 2003. In 2014, I began working with Grand Canyon University to supervise student teachers.
I'm a teacher, a coach, a mom, a wife, and a very passionate photographer. My passion is helping others see their potential, and helping others see themselves the way others see them.
Good Fit
I enjoy the small moments, the ones that sometimes get missed in life. Being with friends, family, and helping others are how I love spending my time. Reading, listening to music, and sitting by a fire on my back patio sounds like a perfect evening! Are we going to be a good fit? Reach out and tell me a little about yourself. I can't wait to work together!
